Young Investigator Meeting 2014

 

14-16 May 2014

The annual EMBO Young Investigator Meeting provides a forum for the members of the programme to network and exchange ideas. Young Investigators present their research and informal discussions give the opportunity to exchange ideas on scientific or general interest topics.

 

Programme

The official programme will start at lunch-time on Wednesday 14 May 2014 and finish late afternoon on Friday 16 May 2014. The meeting comprises of short talks from all attendees, science policy and publishing sessions, and a discussion of YIP programme activities. Social activities include a dinner in Heidelberg.

 

Optional training workshops on advanced presentation skills and creative thinking are additionally be offered to programme members on the morning of 14 May 2014.

The meeting will take place at EMBL, Heidelberg

 

Registration

All current and former EMBO Young Investigators and EMBO Installation Grantees are invited to participate, as well as EMBL group leaders.  Please register using the link on the right, by 20 March 2014.

Travel expenses are covered for all members of the programme. Accommodation will be provided at:

Travel

Participants should please book their own international travel. The closest airport is Frankfurt-am-Main International. Transfers from this airport to the hotel will be arranged by the EMBO Office. Further details of how to travel to EMBO in Heidelberg.
