The EMBO Resource on Responsible Research offers materials and a practical guide to organize structured discussions on responsible research at your organization.
This resource draws on a decade of expert discussions on research integrity and research culture in the life sciences, known as the EMBO Fora on Responsible Research. The materials from these workshops are now being made available on this page as a public resource.
Bringing together a selection of presentation slides with supporting notes on how to make the sessions interactive, short videos introducing the main messages of the slides and a practical guide, this resource is for researchers, institutions and decision makers interested in fostering integrity and responsibility in research.
Full list of topics released in the coming weeks:
- Research integrity: What is it and why should we care?
- Supervisors: With great power comes great responsibility
- How research assessment affects research conduct
- Navigating conflicts of interest in science
