scientific leaders of tomorrow
In 2002 the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) joined EMBO in an
initiative to support the careers of young scientists in the Czech Republic,
Hungry and Poland. The joint programme offers recognition either as
an EMBO/HHMI Young Investigator or EMBO/HHMI Scientist.
In addition to the benefits associated with the EMBO
Young Investigator Programme the awardees recieve an additional
US$26,000 per annum for their 3 year membership in the programme.
