In support of the EMBO Installation Grants and former activities of the joint EMBO/HHMI programme, annual meetings have been held in various Central European member states. The aim of the "Central European Scientists Meeting" is to create a network and provide a forum for information and discussion about available programmes.
The fifth meeting will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, from the 14-16 September 2007.
The programme will include research seminars by members of EMBO and HHMI programmes and selected participants, a poster session, and a panel discussion with representatives from Central European Research Councils.

Life Scientists from Central Europe are invited to attend. EMBO is offering accommodation grants to selected participants.
