In support of the activities of the joint EMBO/HHMI programme, annual meetings have been held in various Central European member states. The aim of the meetings of Central European Scientists is to create a network and to provide a forum for discussion and information about available programmes. The fourth meeting will take place in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on the 15-17 June 2006. The programme will include research seminars by members of EMBO and HHMI programmes and selected participants, a poster session, and a panel discussion with representatives from Central European Research Councils.

Life Scientists from Central Europe are invited to attend. EMBO/HHMI are offering accommodation grants to selected participants.
