EMBO Young Investigators

tomorrow's life science leaders

Selected by EMBO Members annually for their high research standards, EMBO Young Investigators are some of Europe’s most talented young scientists who benefit from financial, academic and practical support during the start up of their first independent research laboratories.

The programme draws attention to the research of these outstanding young group leaders as they develop reputations in the scientific community.

EMBO Young Investigators join a vibrant network of more than 200 scientists and may be mentored by EMBO Members – themselves recognized for their excellence in research.
