EMBO Science & Society

dialogue for policy makers & public

As an organization of scientists, EMBO is concerned about the perception of the life sciences outside the scientific communities.

EMBO facilitates dialogue between scientists, policy makers and the public by monitoring key issues and offering scientific advice on challenges and policy options facing society.

Specialists from a number of related disciplines come together through EMBO Science & Society - a programme that offers a platform for dialogue between scientists, policy makers and public - to discuss and debate key scientific issues with potential societal impact.
