Additional Turkish life scientist to receive 2010 EMBO Installation Grant
HEIDELBERG, Germany, 14 December 2010 – EMBO is pleased to announce that an additional life scientist, Volkan Seyrantepe, will also receive an EMBO Installation Grant for 2010, assisting him to establish his research group at the Izmir Institute of Technology in Turkey. This scientist will receive funding similar to the previous six awardees announced last week. Volkan Seyrantepe is moving to Izmir from the University of Montreal in Canada to research biological functions of mammalian sialidases using mouse models.
