EMBO Members Workshop
Frontiers of Molecular Biology
Each year EMBO welcomes the newly elected EMBO Members, as they present highlights of their research work at the EMBO Members Workshop. Because EMBO membership is derived from all corners of the life science community, this meeting is like a studium generale in cutting edge research sparking many lively discussions across a wide spectrum of research themes.
The programme for this year's workshop will include:
- a lecture by an EMBO Member awarded the Nobel Prize
- the award ceremony for the 2008 winner of the EMBO Gold Medal
- a special symposium on Molecular Biology and Global Health Challenges
Members of the public are invited to attend this part of the programme.We look forward to welcoming you to the 2008 EMBO Members Workshop in the beautiful city of Tampere, Finland!
