EMBO Fellow, Inaki Ruiz-Trillo of the University of Barcelona, is co-organiser of the “ICREA conference on the Origin and Early Evolution of Metazoans", which will take place from 24-25th October 2008 in Barcelona. This international conference aims to bring together scientists from different disciplines interested in the origin of animals or Metazoa. This two-day symposium will feature talks by internationally renowned speakers from disciplines such as paleontology, developmental genetics, phylogenomics, systematics and comparative anatomy.
