Life Science Mobility Portal

EMBO's Life Sciences and Mobility Portal (LSM) provides information on transnational career and training opportunities in the Life Sciences. The Portal launched in February 2004 and is open to all scientists, irrespective of organisation affiliation. The Life Science Mobility Portal also provides a personal consultancy service with individual advice on finding transnational funding.

Grants and Funding agencies

LSM's grants and funding agencies database allows you to narrow your search to look for travel grants, prizes, or fellowships. You can limit your search by the duration of the funding sought, by scientific field, according to your country or destination, and look for awards for each stage of your career. In addition, you can search for funding programmes that include a return scheme as part of their mobility package.

Want to choose a different career path ?

The career and training programmes database searches by course type and includes not only the strictly scientific (molecular biology and bioinformatics) but also programmes that allow you to branch into new areas (business administration and journalism).

Scientific partners

Do you need to find a collaborator with expertise in a particular area ? Are you a future doctoral candidate, or a postdoc looking for a suitable lab in which to learn a particular set of skills ?
Enter your details in the partner search database, give key words about your research and techniques used by your group. Individual records give detailed information for you to select from.
