EMBO Global Activities catalyze scientific exchange, support talented researchers, and strengthen the practice of science across the globe. By offering new forums for scientific exchange, EMBO Global Activities help to establish long-lasting cooperation worldwide.

As part of its initiatives to promote interaction amongst scientists, EMBO has recently set-up cooperation agreements with South Africa, Singapore and the National Science Council of Taiwan and Academia Sinica. Discussions are underway with other potential partner countries.

Scientists worldwide can apply for EMBO Courses & Workshops, EMBO Fellowships, Keynote Lectures by an EMBO Member, EMBO Global Exchange Lecture Series and EMBO Young Investigator Lecture funding.
